noodles81 Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Hi, I'm looking for a 4* in Central Rome or Vatican area, Aug 31 - Sept 5. I see a 4.5* hidden name on hotwire for $255, but that is all. Am I searching correctly? I'm looking for something around the $150 mark; I haven't tried bidding on Priceline. Can someone give me a hand?
thereuare Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 I'm not sure $150 will be enough for a 4* hotel in these zones, but with time on your side you can begin by trying a few low ball bids at first as follows:Select 4* Rome Central...Bid $100, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* Vatican...Bid $100, if rejected add Rome Central...Bid $110Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. amandagov Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 I won on priceline a $105 room at the Morgana for Aug 25-27 and someone else won it at $100. Specify central rome in PRICELINE.
