I also searched LV strip south area for the same 4.5 star rating I used the same dates 09/05-09/12 2011

If you run your HOTWIRE search again does the North Strip property also show a Spa icon?

Note that HOTWIRE will often fluctuate their rates from one search to the next so that the $58/nite hotel in the zone isn't always HOTEL-A while the $63/nite hotel in the zone isn't always HOTEL-B.

With the full list of amenities, i'd agree with your guesses... the North property would appear to be Caesars and the South property Mandalay Bay.
