I’m only able to get 6 rebids in and then I have to wait the 24 hour period....

NOTE: PRICELINE has recently (within the last day or so) added or upgraded hotels in this area. You now only have FIVE re-bid zones available at the 4* level and FOUR re-bid zones at the 3.5* level. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

I just don’t get it, some people get room at 110 per night and I’ve bid from 100-125 and nothing

Rates are date specific... there are other examples on the board where it takes substantially more than $125 to win a hotel in these areas.

I’m only doing 4 Star and 3.5 upscale with no luck at all

Are you bidding for a 4* hotel and then for a 3.5* hotel... or just selecting the 3.5* from the start?

Rates are somewhat high for these nites, what is the best rate you're able to find thru conventional booking channels?

thanks for the reply.

yeah lucky i cheacked your site today before bidding and i was happy that to see another member post that Brooklyn went up to a 4 star.. I'm starting my bids from a 4 star, then after those don't work i go to a 3.5 upscale - I've seen people win bids for 4 star for 110... is there a better time, day of the week to place bids to get good rates? what would you say i do in this case....

I think you need to set your bidding expectations/limit based upon rates which are otherwise available for your dates... not bids which others have won for dates different then your own.
