Thanks again for your help. As an update to my previous trip, I stayed at the Amalfi and it was nice but I'd like to try something different this go around. My company has a negotiated rate with The Sax but some of these seemed like better options.

3.5* NMA - likely Indigo. Cute property although not much different than the rest of the chain. North of the North Michigan Ave area in the Gold Coast; some may like the nightlife-heavy area, but otherwise, if that's not appealing, some may find this area too far North.

4.5* NMA - possible Sofitel.

4* Mag Mile - likely Sheraton.

4.5* Mag Mile - likely Inter-Continental.

Sorry for not posting the end result. My conference was being held at a hotel in downtown Chicago that was unavailable on HOTWIRE, so I booked direct through the conference organizer.
