Hotwire Hotel: Need help To Id 4* seaworld orlando

I am new to pl and hw. I was wondering what kind of rooms are assigned to peole after they have bed successfully. Do you receive the worst room without any view in the hotel? Does anyone ever get newer rooms with balconies, oceanfront or pool views? Are the hotels responsive to your room request or do they just assign you the the most basic undesirable rooms?

New to hotwire. Trying to id two properties SeaWorld - I-drive South area .

1: 4* condo, Resort, 1br, NS, Free park, AC, washer dryer, childrens act, fitness center- 90 hotwire reviews

2: 3 1/2* condo, Resort, 1br, full kitchen, NS, Free park, housekeeping, AC, washer dryer, - 95 hotwire reviews

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Much of room assignment has to do with a LOT of factors, including hotel policy, mood of check-in person, time of day, rooms that are available at the moment, etc, etc.. but the most important of which being hotel occupancy. At some properties they're more than happy to give you whatever you'd like as long as it's avaialble... at others they won't change anything about a 3rd party booking regardless of how empty the hotel is. Some properties will upgrade just because you smiled at check-in, some because you ask, some only for an additional fee... others will never upgrade (even if you're willing to pay extra)

If you don't get the room type, view, etc. that you want it's very easy to blame it on the deep discount you received and how you booked, but there are others who book thru traditional channels who can't get their requests honored... sometimes the hotel is just full and/or can't accommodate your request.

Bottomline: PRICELINE and HOTWIRE reservations are for 'standard rooms' anything better then that is the icing on the cake. If you must have a oceanview room, a room with a balcony, etc, etc then it's probably best to book directly with the hotel (see the links in our support page for your hotel direct bookings)... but usually when most of us think about it, the deep discount is more worthwhile then the amenity/room type we're seeking, and we simply hope for the best.
