Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Los Angeles-San Gabriel Valley (Pasadena) Westin

Used your PRICELINE link. The strategy if you want a good hotel in Old Town Pasadena is to bid on 3.5* hotels in succession in: Pasadena, then Pasadena + Monrovia, then Pasadena + West Covina, then Pasadena + Monrovia + West Covina. In my experience Monrovia and West Covina do not have 3.5* hotels and all three in Pasadena (Sheraton, Hilton, and Westin) are a few blocks from each other. I bid $68 because it's $1 less than my winning bid last time =), then $73, then $80, and finally $95. I wanted to make sure my last bid gets accepted since it's for tonight.

In my experience Monrovia and West Covina do not have 3.5* hotels...

NOTE that 3.5* bidding is offered in West Covina so unless you're desperate, i wouldn't recommend users utilize this property as a re-bid zone.
