Priceline Hotel: 5* north strip 10/27-10/31 too early?

Trying priceline to get 3 rooms 5* on north strip casino for 10/27 to 10/31. I rebid from $100 up to $150 with no counter offers. Hotwire has 5* north and south (both no casino, maybe trump and vdara) for around $120, but we were hoping to stay atVenetian/pallazo. Hotwire isn't showing any 5 star north with casinos for that weekend.

Any suggestions is it too early or are prices going to stay high that weekend? If so will probably rebid to include south strip. The weekend is also haloween/UFC/pbr bull riding.

Thanks

I'm having the same exact problem. I'll be in vegas 10/28-11/1 and the cheapest 5* hotel i've found is the trump and vdara. I want to stay at a casino though. I'm hoping something pops up around August. We got our flights super cheap so i'm hoping we can pay under $130 a night for a 5* hotel. makes me nervous... Let me know if you find something?
