Lots of reports at $60 in this zone for a 3*. Only one rebid zone.

Bid $60. Got a counteroffer for add'l $15 (for $75). I declined.

Re-bid $65. Got a counteroffer for add'l $20 (for $85). I declined.

Waited 24 hours. Thought I'd get in sure thing at $70.

Bid $70. Got a counteroffer for add'l $20 ($90). Really scratching my head at this point. Thought to myself "I'll really feel like an idiot for not taking yesterday's $75 offer if I loose out at $75.

Re-bid $75. Got a counteroffer for add'l $20 ($95). Didn't take it.

One more day (Mon AM) to bid, guess I'll see what the cards show then.

At least you know, at this moment, there is something available at $95 and unless you have a good back-up (close to $95), i would bid at least fairly close to that near your last offer.

Moved to 2*, bid $50, received Ramada Chatsworth (ironically not the Ramada Warner Center which would have been nice).

Ramada.com rate $101.63, saved about 50%.

Sorry to see this was such a tough win for you.

While apparently not your first choice in the area, at least it's a very nice discount vs. a conventionally booked room and hopefully for the price you'll be able to make this work for your needs.
