djayk Posted June 25, 2011 Report Posted June 25, 2011 Hi,I am seeing 5* Las Vegas Strip-North Area Hotel.Amenities include: Spa, resort, smoke free room, fitness center, pool, restaurant, high speed internet access, kitchnette.Even though it has kitchnette, it is still described as north area "hotel". at 99/day in november. Second question is, I plan on travelling near thanksgiving and was wondering if this is too early to purchase a hotel room at this time. Thanks!Oh and it has 90% approval rating

djayk Posted June 26, 2011 Author Report Posted June 26, 2011 Thank you!My travel dates will be 11/24/2011~11/26/2011. I am interested in using either priceline or hotwire. (prefer priceline due to cheaper deals). I am looking for 5* hotels below $90 on the strip (north or south) if that is possible, since I have quite a bit of time until the travel date. Please let me know if that is a realistic goal. Thanks!
bob61 Posted June 26, 2011 Report Posted June 26, 2011 Just joined the board as we are planning trip in November ourselves and found this recommended by a friend of ours.I was looking for exactly this same deal on Hotwire (based on amenities and approval rating it's the same hotel), travel dates were 11/20 to 11/24. Price quoted was $79/night, but trying to determine the hotel name before booking. The kitchenette seems to be the odd amenity which to determine location, based on this it appears to be Vdara hotel which is $119/night if booked directly. In the listing of amenities for this hotel it states "At the 5.0-star property, accommodations include kitchens with stovetops, microwaves, refrigerators, and cookware/dishes/utensils.", so seems to be a match. Also found that it has a SPA, is a RESORT, is a SMOKE FREE PROPERTY, FITNESS CENTER, POOL, RESTAURANT and HIGH SPEED INTERNET, so looks like a perfect match. Anyone can confirm?

thereuare Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 djayk,The 5* Strip North property (which i'm guessing in the Trump) isn't within your current price range and you mention that you prefer PRICELINE in hopes for a lower price... are you ready to bid for the Strip North and Strip South zones with a maximum bid for $90?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
