Priceline Hotel: 3* Ft. Lauderdale (Beach) Bahia Mar Resort

Well I was hoping to specifically get the 2.5* Amerisuites....first bid $79 for FLL Downtown, then added Beach zone thinking it was just a free bid, as there were no 2.5*. However, I was 'upgraded' and got the Bahia Mar at the Beach for an $85 bid ($102 with tax). I should have just been patient and waited until late fall for a better chance at the Amerisuites :) .

There was no availability on Expedia for that date, $189 to $350 at the Bahia Nar website, $185-$305 at Travelocity.

Not that a 3* is junk - Can anyone offer a recent stay review?

Thx

It's the Bahia Mar Resort in the Ft. Lauderdale Beach zone.

This hotel was recently part of the Radisson chain but is now "on it's own" with no chain affiliation (that i know of).

As i'm sure you now know, the star quality you select is the minimum that you are willing to accept, which is why your re-bid zones need to only have star levels less than the quality you are bidding.

Thanks for the reported win.

Well this sounds like a nice place, and I think the price you got is fabulous!

You may want to try www.tripadvisor.com for reviews, and consider using the old name, in case they don't have the new one yet.
