All of my bidding/each bid started out via the PRICELINE link from this site.

I started at $95, receiving the message "If you are willing to raise your price by $25 to $120 per room, per night, you can try the same request again right now."

I did not accept this offer but added Westminster at $97. No luck but received the same message to add $25.

Added Wembley (free re-bid), again at $97, same message. Added Hammersmith (free re-bid) at $99 and won the Hilton.

I did start early and maybe overpaid but getting a room in London for $99/night ($726 with taxes) is a good deal with a $382 savings over their advanced purchase rate.

Ooops! I didnt convert the advanced purchase price from pounds to dollars. The actual savings is approx. $1060.00. Great savings. :)

I should also add that if you couldn't tell from my bidding strategy that this was the hotel that I was after. It is a good hotel in a great area and very close to transportation to go anywhere in London.
