CNK
I already won a bid for and won a room in a 4 * Boutique hotel in the USW for $85 staying 5/27-5/30 (see original posting dated May 14 2005). However, now I needed a second room for the dates of 5/26-5/31. I created a new thread because the dates of stay are different and the experience was all together different. Maybe because it's the holiday weekend, maybe because the date is fast approaching, who knows...but it was much harder to get this second room! Because I wanted to get a room close to the one I already had in the USW and maybe in the same hotel, I started with a Boutique hotel in the USW.Bidding history:Hotel Class: Boutique, 4*Dates of Stay: 5/26 - 5/311) $65 - USW - Rejected2) $75 - added SFO - Rejected3) $78 - added Cathedrill Hill - Rejected4) $83 - added South San Francisco - Rejected5) $85 - added Civic Center - RejectedModified dates of stay: 5/26 - 5/306) $85 - same regions as above - RejectedModified dates of stay: 5/26 - 5/297) $85 - same regions as above - Rejected$85 was the max I wanted to pay for a hotel in the USW area. I decided to add the USE area, knowing because of the hotels offered there, there was a significant chance that my bid would be accepted. I lowered my bid and adjusted my dates back to the original dates.Dates of Stay: 5/26 - 5/318) $75 - added USE - Accepted!
