Hotwire Hotel: Florida Beachfront hotels

please excuse me if i missed something when reading the rules and examples on how to post.......this is my first

my wife and i would really like to stay at the marriot resort on springer island from 7/5/2011-7/9/2011 , i'm not comfortable with priceline so when using hotwire i searched springer island and 4* and up

only 1 choice has "beachfront" in the details and the rate is $126 per night

other amenities include "boutique hotel, fitness center, resort, business center, pools, restaraunts, golf nearby"

my concern is that this also seems to fit the amenities of the brazilian court hotel and beach club (but i don't think its really beach front)

can ya'll please provide an opinion as to whether you think this is the marriot resort or not........the hotwire/priceline game is very new to us

this is the only one that comes up with a "singer island" search 4* and above and that has beach front

i only searched 1 room, i forgot in the op to mention that amenities also include "tennis nearby"

if not the marriot do you have a guess as to which resort it may be?

the above choice has now increased from $119 to $126 and is now $168..........quickly ascending out of the price range, does anyone have a guess as to what it is?

How many people are you searching for? I'm not seeing any Singer Island availability when searching for 7/5-9 and a listing with this particular amenity set has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board.

We are searching for 2 adults and 1 infant (11 months).

We are not picky about the exact location in FL as long as it is beachfront with a pool and a nicer hotel/resort (4 star or resort was our search strategy) and is south of the Daytona area (east or west coast).

Sorry, this is our first attempt at using these sites and we are a bit overwhelmed . . . thanks for your help.

When I searched July 5-8 I got the following amenities for a 3.5*

Daytona Beach (Central Pier)

Resort, Beachfront, Fitness, Pool, Restaurants, Business Center, Laundry, High Speed Internet

It is listing for $71/night.

Any ideas?

I just noticed that your baby is 11 months, so are you searching for 2adults/0children or 2adults/1child?

If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all " link on top of the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?
