Priceline Hotel: New hotel in Dunkirk NY?

I'm looking to bid for 7/2-7/3 in Dunkirk, NY. I'm looking to get the Clarion -- which seems to be the only 2* in the area -- and have been bidding over the past two weeks; so far have gotten up to $70 and it has not accepted my offer. Today I go to bid, and for the first time ever it gives me the option of a 2.5* in Dunkirk. Does anyone know if a new hotel has been added to the list, or if they have upgraded the Clarion from 2* to 2.5*? And is there another source for past wins other than this forum? There is only one data point, and it is from 2004.

In Dunkirk, besides the Clarion, there is also a Comfort Inn which is 2* rated by PRICELINE... there is also a Best Western which is 2.5* rated which is my guess for that one.

Hmm, interesting. I am just confused because whenever I search that area on PRICELINE, only two hotels show up (no matter what dates I put in) -- the 2* Clarion and the 1* Days Inn (in Fredonia). I've never seen the Comfort Inn or Best Western show up on PRICELINE. The retail rate for the Clarion, which is what I'm looking to win, was $149 for that night (before it stopped showing up completely, which occurred 3 days ago). I already have a room reserved there for $135 due to the wedding that I'm going to, but I'm hoping to win it on PL and cancel that reservation.
