fesa
Hi guys,my wife and I plan to make a trip to Florida next spring. We are currently eyeing April or May and want to stay for approx. 2.5 weeks. Our stops would be Miami, Orlando, Key West and another stop would be anywhere on the gulf of mexico, e.g. Sanibel island. When it comes wo weather I have read that both months are quite similar, is that correct? Quite warm, not too hot, not that much rain (at least that's what we hope :)).What we definitely want to avoid is spring break - I already searched for the spring break dates for 2012 and from what I found spring break is mainly in March, right?!Are there any towns/please we have to avoid?Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks so much!Best regards,Felix Link to comment
Kgauger30
If you are wanting to stay away from Spring Break, then stay away from the beaches through the end of April. We are pretty dry here right now, but there is really no telling with Florida weather if you will have rain every day or it will be dry or not. It is actually hit and miss. Link to comment
