Priceline Hotel: 4* hotel in Jersey City for 15 days

Hi, I want to book a 4* room in Jersey City for 15 days. Does Priceline allow that? Or do I have to split up my stay in smaller chunks? What size should each chunk be? This is from June 25th through July 10th. Please do let me know. Thanks!

I was hoping for under $100. Is that a reasonable assumption?

You can try, but i'm doubtful that $100 or under will be enough for this stay... i'd think you're looking closer to $115-$135.

You may be able to save some money if you're willing to change hotels a few times during this stay, but not sure how many times you'd be willing to change hotels during this stay (to be worthwhile it would need to be more than once).

See the added emphasis in my quote above... i think to save any money you'd need to split your stay more than once, meaning anywhere from 3-5 nites at a time. Is this acceptable... or even if it is, would you first want to try for your complete stay up to $120?

Changing every three days seems much. How much would I have to bid to get 5 to 7 day stretch at a time? Please advise.

tried from 6/25 to 7/1 up to $115. no dice. I used the PRICELINE link. I will try again tomorrow upping the max bid to $125. Any other suggestions?

Rates have actually ticked-up a little since 2 days ago. I think you can get a decent rate ($110-$135) for 7/1-710 or 7/2-7/10... but there are multiple rate changes from 6/25-7/1 which may cause those dates to be higher, and therefore require splitting this date range even further.

If you have time (to bid... as you are running out of time before the commencement of this stay) i would try the following (assuming you're only willing to bid as high as $125):

Bid up to $125 for:

6/25-7/10, if that is rejected re-try for

6/26-7/10, if that is rejected re-try for

6/25-7/9, if that is rejected re-try for

6/27-7/10, if that is rejected re-try for

6/25-7/8, if that is rejected re-try for

6/28-7/10, if that is rejected re-try for

6/25-7/7, if that is rejected re-try for

6/29-7/10, if that is rejected re-try for

6/25-7/6, if that is rejected re-try for

6/30-7/10, if that is rejected re-try for

6/25-7/5, if that is rejected re-try for

7/1-7/10, if that is rejected re-try for

As per my previous comments i think the first nites of your stay will be more difficult then the latter nites, but the above at least gives you a chance to obtain the greatest number of nites in your first purchase, leaving fewer nites to 'fill-in' for your second purchase.
