shammes53
With posts of reviews, it would nice to have the winning bid amount shown. This way, without looking back at winning bids, readers could judge the value received for that particular property. Also, the poster could include the property's star rating (when bid on) and opinion if the property live up to it's rating. Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
While price paid might be helpful, it could also be harmful, as many users still don't understand that prices frequently differ between high and low season (ie- they see a low price during low season and don't understand why they can't seem to get it too... although their stay is during high season). Ultimately it's up to users what information they include in their reviews. It's good to read in a review that a hotel is "rated 4* by Priceline and it lived up to that standard", but we specifically edit out star ratings in topic titles since they are subject to change, and don't want to have to make multiple edits each time a hotel is reported with a different star rating (keeping up with the edits to the hotel lists keeps us active enough :) )Bottomline is that we prefer to leave the content up to the user... hopefully by reading posts such as yours users writing reviews will be aware of the information that others would like to see.
