Hello, I am trying to book 2 rooms from July 19 to July 25 in the Homestead, FL area. Hotwire is currently showing the following.

2* Florida City - Homestead area hotel for $31 per night

Amenities - pool

Any idea what the hotel could be? Has anyone used Hotwire to book a hotel in Homestead area latetly?

This property has not yet been reported to the board, and with just a solo Pool icon, which most hotels in Florida have, this could be just about anything. However, if i were to take a shot, i think the Fairway Inn is a possibility.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Hello, Yes bought on Hotwire (Fairway Inn) for night of 07/19. We booked at Hotel Ramada for the rest of the trip via Expedia (did not get a good deal on priceline after biding)

I read through your post with interest. I tried to find a decent motel in Florida City-Homestead several years ago with zero success. Hope your choice proves out better. Please give a review after your stay and let those of us following your journey know how it turns out.
