1- jun 30-jul 3= $122 with Fitness Center ,Pool(s) ,Restaurant(s) ,Business Center ,Tennis Nearby ,Spa Services (all amenities list) and Recommended in 90% of customer reviews

or one less night

2- jul 1 - jul 3 =$94 with Casino ,Smoke Free Rooms ,Fitness Center ,Pool(s) ,Restaurant(s) ,Business Center ,High-Speed Internet Access ,Golf Nearby ,Spa Services and Recommended in 85 % of Hotwire customer reviews.

#1 less information but better reviews and more expensive

Different hotels because of the reviews and the price.

For the first property, a 4* hotel with this exact amenity combination has not yet been reported to the board. The Caribe Hilton with upgraded to the 4* level and with a 'missing' Beachfront icon is a possibility but i'm far from certain.

For the 7/1-7/3 property this is a match for the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino so that would be my best guess for this one.

I am from Puerto Rico and all the hotels in the area are beach front (maybe walking) now they added beach front logo. The strange think for me is the 90-95 % good reviews for the first one. The only hotel i finded with that great reviews and is more expensive was La Concha or IterContinental.I have never used hotwire but priceline like 5 times. I paid for The San Juan hotel(resort) 120$ in october and was 270$ for that night(saturday) but at that time i didnt know about this forum.

Some hotels don't show all the amenities they offer, so while a hotel may be Beachfront they may not necessarily show that icon. The best example of this is that almost all hotels now offer hi-speed internet, yet you'll still see some hotels not show this icon in their amenity description (although the hotel does offer hi-speed internet)

As well, some hotels use multiple amenity combinations for their property... so one combination they use may show the Beachfront icon, while another combination they use does not. If you need a Beachfront property then you should purchase a hotel showing this icon, but i'm only stating that the Caribe Hilton shouldn't be excluded from the possibilities of the first listing simply because it's not showing a Beachfront icon (and note that i did say it was a possibility and that i'm far from certain)

Because of some problems a needed to buy the hotel today. I choose to buy 3 1/2 stars for $126 w/o tax or fees jul1-jul3 (Friday-Sunday). With this amenities- Casino, Fitness Center,Pool(s),Restaurant(s),Business Center ,High-Speed Internet Access ,Tennis Nearby and the hotel was Old San Juan Sheraton, the one you said in other forum.Rigth now the hotel for this weekend is $199 w/o tax or fees. Its a good deal for a late buy. The 4 stars hotels were not available. Thank you for your information and time.
