austroamericandad Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 This one was more tricky than I usually get my rooms:I really wanted to get the Residence Inn in Uptown Albuquerque as it has free breakfast and internet and I had to stay for several nights. So I started with $41 - but didn't get any counter offers until $53 - and finally won the Sheraton for $61. They had a big veterans meeting going on here, so maybe this is why I didn't get anything lower.Anyway - although the hotel didn't have free breakfast nor paid internet (was $10/day) it was nice and clean and located next to quite a few restaurants and shopping centers, and still close enough to jump on a freeway for all our daytrips.
