jeana1 Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 Hello,This is my first set of bids on this forum, so please excuse me if I don't post quite correctly this time.Over a week ahead of time, I started my bid for 3 stars or higher at $45, adding Inglewood, Lawndale, and Santa Monica to get extra bids. We have a rental so we didn't mind a little distance, and I knew from earlier bidding this week that there was no chance of getting a 3* in Santa Monica for this price, nor would I have been sad if we had won something there.I think my last bid before the winning one was $60.Meh. I'm a little disappointed to get this place after all that bidding. The Radisson has had poor reviews lately, and the parking and food are expensive. Oh well, it's not full price, and it's just for one night. Maybe we can return our car the night before we leave and save money by not parking it. Does anybody know if you can get a refund by returning a rental car from a Priceline package (we did our air+car through Priceline separately) early?
