smoluc
New to this forum. Is it too late to try for a 3 or 4* hotel in Midtown West for May 29-June 1?We are currently booked at the Best Western President's Hotel for $129.00 plus taxes a night. After seeing all the great hotels that have been gotten on Priceline I am wondering if I should try it?Would love to stay at a Hilton or Waldorf! We are willing to go up to $139.00.Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Is MTW the only zone you are willing to accept (most 'tourists' also include the MTE and UM/CPS zones... more zones better your chances and also give you more bidding opportunities). As well, have you read and understand RE-BIDDING?Let us know the above and we'll advise on how to best proceed. smoluc
Yes, I have read the information on re-bidding. We went to NY last year in March and know that we wish to stay in the times square area. Link to comment
thereuare
Well you have one re-bid zone available when bidding 3* MTW so i would bid as follows:Select 4* MTWBid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $129.I will reiterate though my opinion that if you're just doing 'touristy' things, there is no need to restrict yourself to just the MTW area... NYC is small enough that it is easy to get around to most anyplace you need to go from most midtown locations.Let us know how the above bidding goes.
