Using the PRICELINE link on this site I was able to to get the following hotel using the strategy listed below.

Residence Inn Denver City Center for $50 on July 1-3. Total for this hotel with taxes and fees is $64.07.

A friend had suggested that I bid $51, as another person had previously mentioned as a winning bid for this hotel. I did not, but ended up getting this hotel for a similar price. Below is my strategy.

Started out with a $35 bid for 3* in Downtown Denver - bid not accepted

Then added Northglen/Thornton with a bid of $40 - bid not accepted

Then added Northeast Denver with a bid of $45 - bid not accepted

Then I70 Airport West with a bid of $50 - bid was accepted for hotel listed above.

I do understand that the hotel does charge a $20 per day parking fee, but so does the Hyatt and Sheraton that I have stayed at in the past, so I guess that is not a big deal. Might look for a cheaper parking option, but I don't think I will find it.

Hi all

Just posting a follow-up, as I thought I had booked my room for 2 nights. Today after looking at my receipt for the hotel address, I discovered that I only booked this hotel for 1 night. I tried added an extra night to my reservation, but did not have any luck. In any event I had start a number reservation. Please check out my next priceline hotel win thread in regards to this reservation on Priceline.
