Started bidding Tuesday at $9/day (for economy, then compact, then midsize, then standard, then fullsize), then $10 on Wednesday, $12 yesterday.

Anyway, my "economy" car turned out to be a minivan, even though I placed this bid at 2:30 on the day of the rental - all they had left were minivans, SUV's (for an extra $15/day) and full-size Lincolns - not sure what the extra charge was for those. So I relived that Seinfeld episode.
