I started bidding for 3* hotels starting at $30. I kept adding zones to my search and incrementing the bid by $5 if my bid failed. I finally struck when I bid $45. I also just learned that the Indy 500 is being held on that same day. Don't know if/how that fact can impact future bidding for this area, that is, bidding on those days without major events going on in Indianapolis.
