Hi, just looking for some bidding help for February 2012. I tried today to bid on several different combinations using Resort, 3.5 and 3 star along with Sea World - I-Drive - Convention Center and Downtown Disney areas. The highest I bid was $54, the lowest was $35 and did not have any success. Am I too early to be able to win anything? Could you provide me with some bidding strategies? I don't care which area we stay in as we will be visiting both Disney and Universal/Sea World, and we will have a car. I would ideally not like to spend more than $60/night, and don't want anything lower than a 3 star - for the high end of my price range, would prefer a 3.5 star!!

Thanks so much! :)

It's definitely moderately early to look into these dates. They do appear on the expensive side, but rates may change between now and your stay. If $60 is your max budget, I'd suggest bidding up to $60 once a week for a few months and if you get into the Fall (September or so) without acceptance, then you could look into lower star ratings or moving your "ceiling" up slightly over time.
