I had been trying Jersey city for a few weeks for the same dates.

However, no success with $75 for 3* and $60 for 2*.

So last night, I changed the area to Secaucus and bid $50 for 3* in the first try--no success.

Then, I added Jersey city and increased the bid to $55, and got the hotel.

Taxes & Service Fees: $23.96

Total Charges: $133.96

Based on the reviews, the hotel sounds pretty good, and I am pleased that this matter has settled.

Not as convenient as the Jersey City area, but with the recent difficulty in getting accepted bids in the Jersey City area this serves as a viable alternative.
