thereuare Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 What are the dates of your stay and highest previously rejected bid made on the same day? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
thenewbie Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 Was this bid placed on the U.S. Priceline? It looks like you are posting information that isn't in US$, especially w/ taxes and fees listed seperately.
wentworth99 Posted June 7, 2005 Author Report Posted June 7, 2005 Apologies for the delay in replying - internet was bloody expensive in Australia! Anyway, I booked 3 nights for the 29th Aug onwards. Turns out the mother-in-law arrives on a weekend so I guess that is why it was so high!?!?!Anyway, I also always use priceline.com.sg (the Singapore site) as you just bid up by SGD 5 each time, ie you can keep the same parameters - that's about $3/4. Hope that helps.W
