scitt089 Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Hi all - this is my first post here! I am booking a trip to Rome Aug 15th - 18th and had a bid accepted for 200 for a 5 star hotel in central Rome. Any idea of what the hotel could be? I can get the bid lower, but does a larger bid equal a nicer hotel? I am new to this so any advice would be great! Thanks!
thereuare Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! Are you basing your 'acceptance' on the fact that after you entered the city and date information you were shown a page with what the total cost would be if you proceeded with the purchase? If so, this is not an indication that your bid would be accepted, since all purchases are non-refundable once accepted, it's simply a 'check' to make sure that all the details you entered (dates, city, zone, etc) are correct. Is this the page you were basing your inclination that your bid would be accepted? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
