needdealhelp Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 Hello,According to your hotel identification list, the only "Resort" in Poipu is the Hyatt, yet Priceline states a much lower RETAIL price for its mysterious "Name Your Price" Poipu "Resort" ($274) than the best public retail price for Hyatt on Priceline ($399). Can anyone explain this or suggest what other "Resort" this may be? Thanks!

needdealhelp Posted June 17, 2011 Author Report Posted June 17, 2011 Our Poipu stay would be for 3-4 nights in July, either at the beginning or end of our July 5-19 trip. Thanks in advance for your help with identifying the Priceline "Resorts" in Poipu.
thereuare Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 The median retail rate given by PRICELINE is frequently incorrect and not very meaningful to use in your bidding strategy... it's information usually best to be ignored.I don't know of any other Resort class properties in this area, but also note the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List that the list only contains hotels reported to the board, and due to upgrades, downgrades and new hotels being added to the system all the time, the hotel lists should never be considered finite and should be treated as a 'work in progress'.Once your plans/dates are firm let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases (and please click this PRICELINE link before replying) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
