spacemanspiff
Was originally trying to get the 2.5* Holiday Inn Express for around 50 bucks like another poster. Been trying this for a few days with no success3.5* $55, refused3* $55, refused2.5* $50, refusedTried it today and decided since it was getting close to my date of stay I would up the ante by 5 bucks each bid. HOTWIRE was showing the cheapest hotel at $75 for a 2.5*3.5* $60 declined3* $60 accepted, four points sheratonHaven't stayed here before. I usually get either the Holiday Inn or the Holiday Inn Express when I'm visiting YVR and haven't had to bid more than $50 over at least 20 successful bids. We'll see if the extra $10 is worth it this time!Used the PRICELINE links on the top of the page. As always, thanks to this forum for helping me out! :) Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success! While $10 more then you've become accustomed to paying, i'm guessing this is still a very nice discount to a conventionally booked room at any star level in the area! Hope you enjoy this property just as much as you do the others in the area.Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. William W
I have never stayed there, but drove by there many times, it is right across from the shopping mall (Landsdown Park), with tons of restaurants near by and it is probably a 10 minutes walk to the Canada Line Sky train station.
