Freida
I started bidding 3 weeks ago with $46 on PRICELINE.Checked HOTWIRE everyday, also. The best hotels were never below $95 on HOTWIRE.I had gotten the DoubleTree/Seatac for $62 on PL earlierfor June 29, 2011, so today I bid PL $63 for the Seatacdates 7/17-7/19. Got a "raise your offer to $78.I had a re-bid op, using the 2 1/2* Kirkland area.So I clicked back for a re-bid. Bid $68.Got the Red Lion. :) No where near the quality of the DoubleTree, I read. They list a retail price of $81 :) So how did they get a 3* rating equal to the Hilton and DoubleTree?I'm glad to have a price of $68. And we will see what we think of the Red Lion. Link to comment
thereuare
Sorry to see you're not as happy with the win as your previous one, but hopefully this will work out just fine for your stay.Orbitz, Travelocity and Expedia all rate this property 3* so PRICELINE probably isn't too far off the mark on this one. (maybe the others hotels are at the top of the star category and this one is near the bottom... much as two students, one with a B+ average and the other with a B- average both get a 'B' on their report card)Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
