raz14 Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Hi all, I'm looking to book two nights July 4th weekend for the best price I can get. I just want a decent hotel and am flexible on location in Manhattan. Thoughts on optimal bidding strategy?
thereuare Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! Before suggesting a strategy... are you really ok with anything within Manhattan? UES and UWS each go pretty far north, which is not typically convenient for the average visitor to the city, are these acceptable? What about something like the Hudson Hotel which has notoriously small rooms? Some zones have hotels which can be up to a 15 minute walk to the subway... is this acceptable?Let us know the above, as well as your maximum bid (so we don't suggest a strategy that goes higher then you're willing to pay), and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
