crtarbert Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 I am new to the forum and have read over the FAQs and other instructions, but one thing I am not picking up on is this: are the amenities, zones and star ratings the same for Hotwire undisclosed hotel as they are for the listings where they give you the hotel name? For instance, I'd like to try to get a stay at the Hilton Clearwater beach, so if that is 3.5 stars and in the Clearwater Beach zone with such-and-such amenities on Hotwire's regular listings, will that information be the same if it's one of the undisclosed hotels? I'm just trying to see how I might be able to narrow it down in order to hopefully book a room at that hotel. I did see that hotel listed on the Florida Hotwire forum as a 3.5 star in the St. Petersburg Tampa zone, but I'm not sure how that could be since the borders for the zone are really nowhere near the Hilton Clearwater Beach's location. Forgive the confusion - would appreciate any tips.Thank you!
thereuare Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Some hotels use multiple amenity combinations so the amenity set shown in the 'opaque' side of things will not necessarily be the amenities in the 'retail' side... as well, i've seen many examples where the star ratings don't match either. What are the date(s) of your stay?
