Priceline Hotel: 3* Ventura Four Points Sheraton

Needed a hotel in the Santa Barbara vicinity. First tried all zones in Santa Barbara, both 2.5 and 3 star levels. Nothing for up to $50. Tried Ventura, bid $44 for 3 star, got back an offer to add $12 to the bid. Instead, bid Ventura again, but added Oxnard, which had no 3 stars in the area, and won at $50. Still a bit confused about how to sign out, try other area, then add the two to get free rebids.

To get the extra re-bid, you don't need to sign out, just close the browser and re-access priceline however you did previously. Then submit a new bid for the zones that you want to use. The reason you need to close the original broswer is that priceline automatically places a checkmark next to whatever you had bid... and there is no way to uncheck it. By 'starting over' you wipe the slate clean. They still check internally to make sure that it's not a duplicate bid and that you changed something, but using a new browser it enables you to (in a sense) uncheck a zone that was previously selected.
