Ive read in many reviews that if you win priceline bid at pier 66 that you automatically are given rooms in their old motel lower floor part of the hotel. I was wondering if this is still true. Were you given a room in one of the higher floors or only a choice on the low floor? Ridiculous pricing for parking.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Just got back from Fl.

Yes we got a lower floor room, not the tower. The room faced the canal and was clean and large. After the win, I called the Hyatt and requested a king room, non smoking. I got it without a problem. I was not offered a choice between rooms.

No resort fee charged. Place seemed well maintained. Very large grounds with beautiful pool area. Was only there one night, so I cant tell you much about the place. There were plenty of places to dine nearby.
