cborgstadt Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 I've been through two rounds of unsuccessful bidding on this. Some of the posts below show winning the Sheraton for roughly $95, but I've had no luck. There are 5 free re-bid zone and here is how the six bids went each time, both unsuccessful:1st time:7075808487902nd time:8085909497100 (I thought I had a pretty good chance on this given the recent history on the Sheraton at $95)Any suggestions on how I should bid going forward? My max is probably $115ish. Thanks and I used your link by the way!
thereuare Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!Rates are dates specific, so you won't always necessarily be able to replicate other winning bids on the board if their dates are different then your own. Unfortunately rates for your dates are somewhat high and this is an extended stay, which can make things a bit more difficult. What is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel for this stay? What is your maximum bid for this stay? Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? Are any zone(s) besides Copley acceptable? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know the above and we'll take it from there. cborgstadt Posted June 5, 2011 Author Report Posted June 5, 2011 I only want to stay in Copley and splitting is not an option. Acceptable rates I could find were obviously the $95 at Sheraton, but I've also found prices ranges of $110 to $140. I would say my max is $120. Once again, I have 5 rebid zones. Thanks for your help!

cborgstadt Posted June 6, 2011 Author Report Posted June 6, 2011 Oh, sorry about that. The best rate I could find for that quality hotel in that specific area was $192 per night.
thereuare Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 When bidding 3.5* in this area you have FIVE re-bid zones.
