Steve M Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Bid $40 for 2.5* was rejected, Bid $34 for 2* and was also rejected, used link from this website to PRICELINE. Priceline says avg price $79 for 2* so I always just multiply by 0.425 for first bid (57.5% discount) to see if I can get the "up to 60% off" room price. Unsuccessful this time around...mulling over options.

Steve M Posted June 4, 2011 Author Report Posted June 4, 2011 $77/nt on HOTWIRE using this site's link. Same hotel was $79 per night on Hotels.com with lower fees resulting in almost same price. No price listed on Hotwire for this hotel for regular booking. Was hoping to get Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express...but I generally like La Quinta fine.Total cost $92.30 with taxes and fees.

scottlevin Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 The 2.5 TripAdvisor rating should have tipped you off. Make sure to check it next time.Additionally, that La Quinta DOES NOT have a Fitness Center. So if you want to call Hotwire I bet you can get them to cancel your room based on that technicality.
