Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? Additionally, PRICELINE is definitely a risk in NYC if you need more than one bed; HOTWIRE is more expensive, but a better choice as you can indicate the amount of people in the party.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Help bidding from august 15-20! Need strategy!

Parents and I need a place to stay on those days so they can check me in at my college, needs to be in manhattan, preferably on the east side, close to the village. Would like to start at around 90 and end up around 125. Unreasonable for these dates? Also, 4 stars would be nice.

Thanks so much!

Do you need triple occupancy for this stay? PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request (especially in NYC). Is this a risk you're willing to accept? If not, HOTWIRE may still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)

Let us know if you want to go the PRICELINE or HOTWIRE route, and please click each of the previous links before replying, we'll take it from there.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
