CardQB Posted June 2, 2011 Report Share Posted June 2, 2011 I tried to bid on a four star hotel only wanting the Financial District-Embarcadero area for two days with no success.. started bidding for 4* only hotel at $80 and re-bid all the way up to $140 by last night with no success.This morning I decided to try for lower star hotels in the same area and placed a $80 bid for a 3 1/2 star hotel. To my surprise it accepted my bid and told me it upgraded me to a 4* for the same price!! Got the Hyatt Regency SF for a great price.Thanks for all the tips on re-bidding I got on here, it really helped. Plus the luck of the draw in getting the 4* upgrade helped too.
