thereuare Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Congratulations on your success!Glad to see you received a nice deal for this stay and hopefully this property is convenient to your conference. Not a 'hidden gem' by any means, but if your budget/expense account allows and you're a steak fan Peter Luger is regarded as one of the top steakhouses in the country. (NOTE: cash only... or their own credit card). If out of your budget they apparently have a decent lunch too where burgers (and perhaps some other menu items) are more reasonably priced.Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. jazzyone Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 Thanks. This is a preferred hotel for the conference but still better than the group rate offered ($170). I'm pleased. Hubby is the carnivore, will add Luger to the list, thanks for the rec!
