I have stayed at this hotel before with a Hotwire purchase price off $53/night plus tax = $69.93/night, so today's Priceline bid was cheaper!

This is a good hotel and I'm very picky (a Hyatt, Doubletree snob) :) I like my room clean, modern, white, new (no old victorian feel), and thick plushy SOFT beds!

The hotel is located behind the local mall - between the feeway and mall. You can walk across the parking lot to the mall. Ask for a room facing the mall, not the freeway.

The clerk was really nice the last time I stayed here and he gave me a free room upgrade because my room smelled smokey.

Check-In Date: Saturday, June 4, 2011

Check-Out Date: Sunday, June 5, 2011

Hotel Name: Four Points By Sheraton Pleasanton

5115 Hopyard Rd

Pleasanton, California 94588

Number of Rooms: 1

Number of Nights: 1

Subtotal: $45.00

Taxes and Fees: $13.05

Total Charges*: $58.05

Hotwire had 3 comparable hotels:

Pleasanton 3.5* $58

Pleasanton 3* $54

Livermore 3* $58 with TONS of Amenities (possibly Residence Inn, but reviews on Trip Advisor for Residence Inn aren't that great.... gives me the creeps)

So I knew I had to keep my bid under $54 for priceline

Bid 1: Pleasanton 3-star $40

Bid 2: Pleasanton AND Hayward (since no 3 star hotels in this area) 3-star $42

Bid 3: Pleasanton AND Hayward (no 3 star hotels) AND Martinez (no 3 star hotels) 3-star $44

Bid 4: Pleasanton AND Hayward (no 3 star hotels) AND Martinez (no 3 star hotels) AND Richmond-Pinole (no 3 star hotels), 3-star $45

Bid 4 was accepted at $45/night
