Hotwire Hotel: 4* Kamloops (Sun Peaks) Delta Sun Peaks

After getting nowhere on PRICELINE looking for a hotel in Kamloops for one night (seriously I paid less for a 4* this summer in Barcelona than 3* hotels in Kamloops wanted, and Kamloops is pretty damned drab), I switched over to HOTWIRE, using the link here, and got the Delta Sun Peaks for $104.

The price on the Delta was ping ponging a bit so I jumped in when it came down from $111. Been to Sun Peaks several times and the Delta is the best place there aside from some of the townhomes you rent directly from owners.

Amenities made it obvious it was the Delta (resort, pool, ski in/ski out, fitness centre) and even though it's a 40-45 drive back into Kamloops I'd rather do that than stay in a crap 3* in Kamloops for up to $150.
