godspeedhot Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 I want to know what is the price people are winning for 4* in Time Square AREA and I want to know about how much should i start with.
thereuare Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Please follow-up your previous Priceline San Francisco thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay.Summer is typically a slower time of year in NYC, but at the moment, i'm guessing a 4* hotel in Times Square will likely cost you $200+... but why is Times Square the other zone you're willing to accept? If you haven't, see some of the comments/thoughts on Hotels Near Times Square.Let us know your maximum bid for this stay and your thoughts regarding other zone(s) and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. godspeedhot Posted May 30, 2011 Author Report Posted May 30, 2011 Should I wait until it is closer to the date and start bidding or just continue bidding
AaronJB Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 TS is generally the most expensive zone in the city - if you would be willing to expand your search a bit you may have a better choice. Summer is generally one of the slowest periods, but if something is going on on these dates, rates will be higher. I'd bid up to a "ceiling" (which would depend on what your max bid would be) for a few weeks, then if that isn't accepted, raise the ceiling.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
