sam25 Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 This wasn't an easy bidding, I was trying for days, but the prices in NYC are very very high for September. Yesterday I tried the same bid but it was rejected, eventually today it was accepted.I started my biddings at 140$, adding 5$ or 4$ for each bid. It seems like NYC will be packed of tourists on September.* I decided to split my bidding, I was looking for an hotel until 9/11/11 but even 180$ was rejected, so I just bid for half of my trip, hopping that prices will be lower in the next few weeks, but at least once I land from Europe I'll have a bed :)
AaronJB Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Congrats on your success. :)Very good result for this TS property during the September period, which is generally a busy period due to conferences and nicer weather vs. the hot Summer months.
