Hotwire Hotel: Westin Diplomat with Hotwire

Hello, Newcomer here...Has anybody stayed at the Westin Diplomat by booking with Hotwire? Do you get to stay in the main hotel or is there some type of lesser building with a substandard view that they place you in? We are considering staying in November but not if the view, room etc are not in the main facility, which looks pretty nice. Thanks

I haven't, but a family member did and was put in a room with a partial ocean view room. (Very partial ocean view on the 28th floor)... it was facing directly towards the next condo/hotel next door, but you could see the ocean and intracoastal... I'm not sure there is a "lesser building", however... there is just the main building and convention center adjacent to it. You may get a direct intracoastal/city view room.. but I wouldn't consider it a bad view... there is a separate hotel area called the "Diplomat Resort and Spa" in Hallandale Beach... if the hotel you win is the westin diplomat resort and spa on hollywood beach, you won't be put in a room in the hallandale beach hotel... I've seen people on trip advisor say they were switched to the hallandale resort due to the hollywood beach resort being full, but I don't see how that would really go over well considering the hotel that was purchased was specifically the hollywood beach resort... and the other hotel is not near the beach at all.
