Hotwire Hotel: 3* Bar Harbor, Maine July 5-8 2011

Hi,

I just went to Hotwire and inquired towards a 3-star hotel room in Bar Harbor, Maine for July 5-8 for two people. I got a price of $162 a night and $537.13 for three nights including taxes. The only hotel that is listed in Hotels.com or Priceline that fits the amenities I've listed below would be the Holiday Inn Sunspree. Would I be correct in this or would there be other possibilities? I chose only in the Bar Harbor area so this doesn't include Ellsworth or Southwest Harbor. Any ideas?

Okay, I put in a follow up to my San Juan thread as to what I did as you asked for. I then clicked on the HOTWIRE link and was directed to Hotwire's website where I received the same offer as I mentioned in my previous post. Now that I've complied, does that now allow my post to be answered?

This property has not yet been reported to the board, but i believe the Holiday Inn Regency Bar Harbor is a likely candidate and that would be my best guess for this one.

Thanks for the reply and you're probably right about it being the Holiday Inn Regency which is slightly out of the downtown area. I decided to book directly at The Holland Inn which is in the heart of town instead. Thanks and I will start a new post shortly asking about Portland, Maine after I check HOTWIRE, using your link of course.
