Noela
Hi,I am interested in renting a car for a week starting tuesday 24 May to 31st Many (tuesday). The difficulty is I will have to drive the car to Canada, and in the past, only Budget has allowed me to take the car across into Canada. Can i bid for Budget through priceline or hotwire ?thanks - Noela. thesmart
If you bid through Priceline or use Hotwire, you are not guaranteed to have Budget cars, but you can end up with Hertz, Avis, etc.It might be better to use one of various membership discounts. For example, using the Costco promotion code, I recently booked a Budget car at a good price, which is similar to Hotwire (It was for BWI). I don't think Priceline will lead to a huge saving on it.In the case of Costco, there is a $20 discount coupon for Budget that you can present at the time of pickup, which makes the price even better.BTW, I didn't like the Budget CSR I talked to to book the car. :) Link to comment
thereuare
Your driving your car from Baltimore MD to Canada? Most car rental companies won't consider that part of their "local driving area" and according to the exact terms of their rental agreement may not qualify for their 'unlimited milage'. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
