I would want to stay away from places like Arizona, or Florida where the temperatures could get extreme (save those places for winter). What places are considered off season in the summer? I was looking at Colorado Springs and looked quite lovely to visit. I am not really looking for a city type vacation but more adventurous / scenic. Share places you like to visit during the summer :).
AaronJB Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Wisconsin has some very nice small/mid-sized cities (Door County in Wisconsin is particularly scenic and a very nice area, as are some other areas) and is beautiful in the Summer. Chicago is nice, although rates can be high at times during the Summer.
