50th State Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 This is my first post but have been following the board for about a year now. Never thought about joining until now. I have been able to use the information posted in the past by members. I decided to give back so one day someone else reading will help pass on the knowledge...Anyway, wanted to stay on the strip...for August 2001 I started bidding at50$ declined55$-declined60$-declined62$-declined63$-declined65$-ACCEPTEDThe hotel is the PH Hotel A Westgate. It looks to be a resort on PH property but not in the main casino. Any tips on how I may be able to get upgraded there to the main casino?Has anyone stayed at this particular property. It is the one on 80 East Harmon Ave?Good luck bidding....
Vegas001 Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 You have direct access to the Miracle Mile Shops I believe from the Westgate Towers and then a short walk you are in the casino. I wouldn't worry about staying in the hotel part, the Westgate Towers are new and pretty nice.Good rate you got for it too.

jeremypl Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 Stayed there for a weekend in March got it on Priceline for $100/night booked it late, so you got a good deal. What I do like about the PH Towers was that there was a kitchenette with a medium sized fridge, faucet and dishwasher with some cupboards (I believe its also their time-share property). Also, unless its been updated, if I remember correctly they DO NOT have ice machines on every level; they only have them on certain levels. You can request them to bring some up but it may take some time anywhere from 15-30 mins... Also when I went in March, it seemed like a party-like atmosphere, a lot of drunk college kids being loud so be wary of that (I'm already 27 and it was kind of annoying)... other than that it was pretty good... its in the same Casino as Planet Hollywood so its basically on the Strip just no "Strip-Side" views... Hopefully this helps
